Getting started
Add a Google account
Section titled “Add a Google account”- Click the Calendrop icon in the menu bar and open Settings.
- Go to Accounts and press Add Account….
- Your default browser opens Google’s sign-in. Choose the account and allow Calendrop to see your calendar list and your events.
- Return to Calendrop. The account appears in the list, and its meetings in the menu.
Repeat for each Google account. Nothing has to be set up beforehand.
Calendrop asks only to see your list of calendars and their events. If you untick either on Google’s consent screen, the sign-in is turned back with an explanation; sign in again and leave both ticked.
While Calendrop waits for the browser, the accounts page shows Cancel Sign-In. Use it if you closed the browser tab or Google showed an error page. Starting another sign-in also replaces the one still waiting.
Label and colour
Section titled “Label and colour”Click an account to open its settings.
- Label is shown in the menu and on the cut-in instead of the address — for
example
WorkorClient A. - Colour marks the account’s meetings in the menu and on the cut-in.
Choose calendars
Section titled “Choose calendars”Under Calendars, each of the account’s calendars has a switch. Until you change one, Calendrop reads only the account’s main calendar. Turn on any others you want meetings from, such as a team calendar.
Use Only the Main Calendar goes back to reading just the main calendar.
Remove an account
Section titled “Remove an account”Open the account and press Remove…. Calendrop asks first, because removing an account removes it from every Mac that shares your settings. Its sign-in token is deleted from this Mac’s Keychain. You can add it again later by signing in.
Several Macs
Section titled “Several Macs”Your accounts and settings are kept in a file on iCloud Drive, so every Mac signed in to the same iCloud account sees the same list. Sign-in tokens are not shared: on another Mac, each account shows Sign-in required on this Mac. Open it and press Sign In…; the browser opens with that account already chosen. See Sync.
